First Teeth

Not only was Lillian early at getting teeth. She also got two at the same time. I'll try to get some pictures of her showing them off. No more gummy smiles here!

Rice Cereal

Baby, in her natural habitat: a blue bumbo. Little does she know that her caretakers are going to try to feed her nasty tasting goo. She smiles.

Goo has been inserted into the oral cavity. Goo was rejected.

Baby has found the source of the goo. She pulls it closer for further inspection. She starts gnawing on the dish.

Baby tries to purge the foul tasting gruel from her system.

Here she is trying to trick her caretakers into thinking that she is actually feeding herself, so she does not have to ingest more cereal.

All in all, it wasn't a bad experience. She seemed to enjoy it, even if she didn't know how to swallow it. She loved chewing on the spoon, so we would dip it in the rice cereal and let her chew. It seemed to be the best way for her to 'eat.' She gagged herself a couple times, but by the end I think she figured out why that kept happening. She's a smart little girl.

Purple

Isn't she adorable? I love that outfit.

So, I found this website. I wish I had created it. Its an 'auction' website. Each bid costs a dollar and raises the price of the item by 15 cents and increases the time of the auction. I've kept a page open for three hours. The price has increased by roughly 200 dollars. That means, in the past three hours, they have raised around 1,333 dollars, over the price of the tv, completely on bids. And the auction will continue until people stop bidding, or December 8th, which ever comes first. And since people can set up an automated system to continue bidding when they leave, I really doubt the bidding will stop anytime soon.

Lillian has started 'reading' books. We'll sit there and look at the book and she'll try to turn the pages. She does succeed sometimes. Especially with the plastic books, since they're easy to grab. I have such a smart baby!

Baby Propaganda

This is what I plan on having her wear on Super Tuesday. Apparently this outfit makes her look masculine.

I've been a big mass of sickness this past week. I got a cold last Sunday and couldn't talk for a couple days. I was slowly getting better until Friday, when I got an ear infection. I am barely at work now. Everyone sounds like they're off in the distance. Lillian is doing great. She had a couple of sniffles one night, but hasn't really let that bother her. Sean was awesome, too. I can't wait to get over all of this.
